Aphrodisiacs

Weekend’s here, no more quibble
strings on woodwind, troubles
leaving, wings of oysters, bubbling
wine and excitement doubles
skin on satin, blood is boiling
licking gently, teasing tickle,
dribble, dribble earlobes nibble,
breathlessly nude, unbuckled
shaking wriggles roar and ripple
ecstatic sobs erected nipples.

Today it is Quadrille with Mish hosting at dVerse. 44 words and you have to include the word nibble. When I started to write this I took inspiration from the witches in McBeth.

  1. Wow! This poem has a lot of energy and movements – from bubbling to tickling. Reading your note now, gives this a perspective.

  2. Is this how they stay warm where you are (besides going out for a run)? 😉 I am feeling quite warm right now from your sensual word bites!
