Carpe Diem Haiku – Zooni

In Sweden we have a tradition to have peasoup and pancakes every Thursday. The peasoup is made from yellow dried peas, and is thick and rich. Usually you add lots of pork and sausages and you spice it with strong mustard, marjorie and thyme. As dessert you take thin pancakes with jam and cream. After a lunch like this you are usually a little bit tired.

  1. Love the little stacks of pancakes… Not sure about the peasoup? Not a real veggie person and peasoup sounds like trickery to eat veggies- even if it is mixed with sausage!
