Goosebumps

Joy is barefoot tingle-
fleshed; a trickleburst of
woodwind, strings and icicles.

Joy is melt of snow
the eavesdropping of water,
gigglebrooks and bloom.

Joy is fireskin and itch,
your eager harpsichord,
my heartbeat orchestra.

Joy is bubblegrins and spring,
it’s pink in blue
it’s goosebumps/you

Joy is everything that binds two souls together accompanied with lots
    of music.

  2. Joy is another thing, that comes quietly, without notice, a hum in your chest, and you don’t even know it is there. But there is is. I enjoyed your write.

  3. I love your joy in the celebration of language and words – how you fashion such delightful mixes that stimulate all the senses! Exceptionally creative and absolutely wonderful to just sip these essences.

  4. Wonderful! Love the little ‘pops’ of storybook words in a poem, that is a word-potion for JOY!
