– I –
Wisdom is
a guiding cairn
when rocks come together —
why don’t we?
– II –
I’m rock, resting
when I’m
at my lowest.
– III –
The rock that
holds you buoyant
can also pull you under.
– IV –
the smallest of rocks
can topple a giant —
beware the glass-houses.
A second quadrille for dVerse.

I liked the second one about resting at one’s lowest.
I do like cairn. And the David reference
To guess on the first, probably because we don’t have enough cairns in our lives. Or we deliberately avoid them in “the road less traveled” spirit.
I like reading this as if the title is “For Pebbles” … from The Flintstones cartoon. 🙂
A moving meditation, Bjorn!
I admire the pebbles of wisdom specially the 3rd one ~
Love the form you chose. The first one really speaks to me. Nature is so intelligent. We need to listen.
The rocks in my life also offer solid support.
I like how you broke this up into 4 parts. That’s creative, and I like each part.
I like this. It’s like picking up pebbles on a beach.
So much wisdom and beautiful messages
Beware of David’s little rock. 🙂
Excellent pebbles thrown out for thought! Verse 3 (buoyant?) is a mystery…
Thank you… spelling there is hard 🙂
Yes, I agree.
Love these, B.
These are all great gems. Especially, enjoyed the first and last.
I love it when you write in this form, Bjorn, because I can read the stanzas individually, all together or another way entirely and I can always find something different! I especially enjoyed IV.
