Four pebbles

– I –
Wisdom is
a guiding cairn
when rocks come together —
why don’t we?

– II –
I’m rock, resting
when I’m
at my lowest.

– III –
The rock that
holds you buoyant
can also pull you under.

– IV –
the smallest of rocks
can topple a giant —
beware the glass-houses.

A second quadrille for dVerse.

  1. I love it when you write in this form, Bjorn, because I can read the stanzas individually, all together or another way entirely and I can always find something different! I especially enjoyed IV.
