WOW! Did you EVER use the words, and so well. The footsteps at the end are rather haunting, Bjorn.

Bjorn, this is delicate and truthful. How can one not love this poem? I do.

The words you wrote sound so personal, it is as if you are talking about yourself, which is of course so much more telling.
I love the title and the image, Bjorn. My favourite lines in this poem have to be:
‘Rapture is to
necklace syllables
to sentences’
and
‘the end of an affair
as footsteps left in sand’.
‘But rapture is alas a fickle thing the end of an affair as footsteps left in sand’… this is so incredibly deep and poignant!
“Rapture is “a many splendid thing” as the song goes. I like the way that you used it as it didn’t really click with ways I had ever thought.
