Breeze becomes you
as my cue to breathe:
to melt;
it opens shadows
lulls and spills me
rose-clouds;
it shimmers green;
it grins and sparks.
… and like words
we dance with leaves;
we twist and bubble-skip
on this enchanted journey
of a song unjarred.
A second offering, where I have used all the words of Quadrille at dVerse.

WOW!
mesmerising
I liked the linking up of “words” and “leaves” in the last stanza.
I love this sound of this read aloud….especially..
“it shimmers green;
it grins and sparks”
Wow, I love it ~
like your shadows, your poem lulls me into the dance with the leaves
I don’t know why I’m annoyed for liking this.
I just love bubble skip on an enchanted journey…such a whimsical dance
Well done, as always. Wonder if I’ll have time for The One With All The Words this week…
Love the flow and it is enchanting!
I love it, I want to bubble skip! A song unjarred indeed….
Beautifully haunting!❤️
I love this, beautifully done! :o)
bubble skip? it is so light and full of air this marvellous poem
Very impressive! Love the rhythm of this poem.
“a song unjarred” and all the other terrific lines.
Before I got to the image I thought that this just makes me want to dance. Delightful!
This one made me smile, and I think I needed that. Thank you!
… and like words
we dance with leaves;
we twist and bubble-skip
on this enchanted journey
of a song unjarred………………..simply loved it!
Lovely!! 🙂
Perfection!
Again – an incredible title – I’d be interested in knowing if you start from a title or vice versa. I always title after I’ve finished a piece, but I’m beginning to wonder if I should mix my approach up a bit.
Delightful! I love ‘bubble-skip’ and ‘song unjarred’.
