ZING. 😉
🙂
These be addicting, yes?
They are… 🙂
I love the first stanza. The rest is just sad. 😦 Women must always remember that they are nothing more than toys, to boys. And that’s why they should get presents. (I feel like we’ve had this conversation before.)
I fully agree… 🙂 but there are too many men who think otherwise
And what do they think?
About themselves
Are these your toys? My son has the one in the middle, also missing a tire
Alas not.. They are truly cool though
Oh, sometimes the power of poetry is to make you angry 🙂 I really admire you for weaving such powerful tales that make one think and stir up people’s emotions, with a form that seems so complicated to me personally.
You should try the form.
Chaa ching 😛
Thanks for introducing me to the sevenling. All three of your sevenling poems are wonderful – it’s hard to pick a favorite. I might just give the form a try – though, I can see where it could be very addictive!
Wendy, do join us over at dVerse! They are addicting. Betcha can’t write just one. 😉
Ha, and consequences increase with age as well!
Amen to THAT, Mary. Some of us girls take our toys and go home. 😉
Those toys get expensive and demanding too ~ Enjoyed them all Bjorn 🙂
You’re on a roll, Bjorn…
Oh, isn’t that the truth!
Indeed. Everything is changing, including us, I’m afraid.
Too, too true! I remember, not too long ago, buying myself a toy train set from a pavement vendor. A fellow artist understood and played along. Not that it will take only artists to understand these things. Anyone with a playful soul would.
They surely do!

whew. what a double entendre in that final line ~
*Grin.*
I feel sorry for that boy. His dad doesn’t sound like much of a winner.
