Mingling with shadies

Once in London a querulous lady.
was scaring the guys and making them shaky
but one brought a gun
and ended her fun
that’s how it goes when mingling with shadies.

Just a limerick, I have a chance of doing 30 poems in April.. so I hope this count.

  1. Clever, dark and droll. I’m going to have to take a closer look at your limerick poems, one of these days. I love humorous poetry (reading and writing) but I have yet to pull off a limerick verse that has any panache to it … As with this one, a good limerick ought to be a little bit cheeky and irreverent, I think. That, to me, is kind of the point of the genre. That said … good one!
