So very true…it is almost like a teaser for 20 to 40 minutes of fairy tale skies, then the darkness.
Awesome feeling I get of this haiku … I love that deepening of the night after the fireworks.
Phew! The sound of darkness descending. You’ve hit a visceral nerve with this one. There’s something primordial in there. It has to do with fire, I think.
