your success can just be measuered
in the tiniest amounts you know
and at the end a smile is treasured
for whatever gold you can bestow
it’s not what riches you’ve received
cause if you collect you are deceived

  1. For oneself, the competition too, against the self only. Great poem! Seems that even going to the Olympics spells success. Or not going, but knowing.

  2. Success is the satisfaction of achievements. Any rewards accruing are just of efforts given but are merely incidental! Wonderful write Bjorn!
