Writing a haiku inspired by Gary Gay’s haiku:
touched
in the darkness–
by a snowflake
Not an easy task, but I go with the season.
kissed
by unfaithful winds –
withered leaf

Oh! That is a lovely haiku. 🙂
Beautifully sensitive and perfectly poised:-)
“kissed” is brilliant. Wonderful haiku.
evokes a vision of a spurned young woman still holding her head for a kiss, and losing hope…nice
It’s actually inspired partly by a poem in Swedish by poet Hjalmar Gullberg… “kyssande vind” — don’t have a translation. But it sure was at the back of my head.
Nicely done Bjorn … 🙂
Oh those unfaithful winds…they do it every time! 😉
Beautiful.
kissed by… ~ wonderful ~ they sure can be unfaithful ~ happy week to you ~ carol
what a glorious image! I love this.
Perfect!
in the darkness
and there is the sad side of being touched
the end of things at hand
perfect for the fall season Bjorn
