behind the silver clouds
moon plays peek-a-boo
across the lake
in dreams of moonbeams

moon play peek-a -boo. I love that line, it’s was whimsical and dreamy.
dreams of, and on, moonbeams….
I like this take on ‘waiting evening’ and in the second verse I sense a touch of ‘ Genji’s Tale’ … really a wonderful haiku. Is it OK that I use that second hàiku in one of the upcoming Tan Renga Challenges? I would be honored.
Of course.. it’s a joy and honour to have my haiku being used,
Both are excellent pieces.
Both lovely but especially adore the second.
