Carpe Diem Haiku – Aota (Green paddy)

Carpe Diem kigo today is Aota (Green paddy). I was out bicycling yesterday, and high above the green fields the lark was singing. A quit time for the farmers while waiting for the seed to grow.

  1. aloha Brudberg. i like that image of lark song high above the green fields. that’s a beauty. i like the way you arrived at this haiku as well. it is all around us, yes. way cool. and fun. aloha

  2. Wonderfully composed haiku Bjorn, I love the imagery you paint in this one with your words. Ah … the lark … how immodest of him to think its his field. 🙂
