Carpe Diem Haiku – Usurai (thin ice)

Carpe Diem kigo is thin ice – Usurai (thin ice). The picture below I took this autumn, but ice can be thin then also after a cold night.

after cold night
even the smallest shrew
threads on thin ice
~~
in morning sun
a spring breeze shatters
thin crystal
~~
proud swan drake
admire his ice reflection
forgets his mate

  1. I feel in love with the shrew, but then the 2nd is really classic in feeling.
    Really beautiful set of haiku.
