Humans again

We lived on illusions, the artificial intelligence we have named “The Guide”. It had entered our brains, manipulating feelings, stealing our dreams and affections. Ever since it took hold on us, we never talked to each other. We were slowly becoming extinct feeding the furnace for tokens.

Who would save us from him, which is partly ourselves?

We, the Starpainters are.

Taking over now, we are building anew, from salvaged manuscripts, a world of secret gardens, where water is clean and the sun doesn’t burn.

The Guide can’t comprehend our language in verse, and beside sees us non-harmful which we are not.

Our secret is that we know how pulling the plug will stop the enslavement of humans. We know where to find it, but we have to prepare.

We have to be ready to teach our fellow and friends to be humans again.

Today it is time for Prosery again at dVerse . Mish hosts and have selected a line from a poem by Gordon Downie from his poem Stargasers.

“The Starpainters are taking over now”
