1. What a scary image you chose to illustrate your Prosery piece, Björn! But the prospect of artificial intelligence entering our brains’ manipulating feelings, stealing our dreams and affections’ is even scarier. This could indeed be our future, if we’re not careful. I love how you split the prompt line.

   • I always look for a split of the line, and I hope there is some way of unplugging the guide before it is too late.

2. Oh you added another layer of possibility…and another layer of fear, with AI harvesting our emotions and manipulating our thoughts. I love that humans become the “starpainters” in your prosery.

   • I think we must be something like that… unplugging is what counts.

3. Fascinating sci-fi. I love it.

   • Maybe just sci (there is not too much fiction here)

     • Oh, well that’s true.

       “A world of secret gardens” … It makes all the difference having beautiful, touching things to focus on and find peace in. For me, it’s words and flowers. No matter what chaos the world crumbles into, we must find and be peacekeepers. I think of Jasper (from Twilight) walking into rooms and calming them with his gift of mood contagion. That’s what we must all be.

4. A reminder to keep creating as humans – there is hope

   • We have poured humanity into AI and now it is getting ready.

8. The line split worked in well, I have to try that some time. AI is scary and moving too quickly. I feel like we are moving into a terminator movie. ugh. We need to retain our human side and not get lost in technology.

   • AI is good for so many things, but agentic AI is scary

12. Oh my goodness, Bjorn, you have written such a beautiful – and hopeful – response to the scary reports about AI that it gives me hope. I really needed to consider this positive take on how we can get out of the mess we are in – and learn to be humans again. I am so glad I read this this morning!

    • I think we need to learn how to live with what we have been given, our mind and hands to be able to live “outside” for a while.
