that irk/some itch,
the glitch
that makes you watch
those loath/some acts
the facts, the catch,
the this and that
that spins your mind
that drives you nuts
makes you blind
unease your guts
the poisoned treats
those nightmares left

I love how you captured the human trait of rubbernecking and being drawn to the awful, and the phrase ‘poisoned treats those nightmares left behind’. I think I must have had some of them this morning.
