His library, riddle and maze
islands in haze
risk is on you
Here is my clue:
Enter, remain here forever
you can never
skygaze again;
as in your brain
sentences, serpents expanding
notwithstanding
your resistance
no existence

I feel like I fell into the archive section of the library,Bjorn. That is quite a maze to run through and get out (or not). Give me the answer aged librarian.

This is absolutely stellar writing, Bjorn! I love the progression and excellent use of rhyme throughout 💝💝
I missed reading your wonderful words and ideas.
A maze worth traveling through.
Ha… it’s been a while… at dVerse we are still writing three times per week.
a great conundrum to match your fascinating pic!
That is just too scary!….written with such a precise steady hand, but what a mind, of that librarian….
You’re right, Bjorn; I can’t resist. Be praised!
Oh my, that looks like me…😂😂
OMG a library to stay away from!!!
Much love…
Hippity hoppity back to the library we go! With a crash landing that will surely end us!
Consumed by the library. Darkly wonderful Bjorn!
Clever!
Sometimes books can be a haven and other times an escape from your own reality. It can be a thin tightrope to walk. I can see how someone surrounded by them could be overcome. Don’t let extremes take over your life! Excellent storytelling, Bjorn.
This has a lot of truth!! Great write!
Just when I thought I could trust the old librarian…he’s playing mind games!
Fits in nicely if sunglasses are added on.

This librarian loves puzzles for sure 🙂
Oh he’s a tease, your librarian 😁.
Lovely and scary!
You created a conundrum of a librarian with this one! Excellent write!
I love your word choice, as always; the mood of the poem for some reason makes a tad bit fearful while reading, as if what is invoked is a reminder of blending in, forcefully, with the crowd.
Oh fair warning indeed! I would first love then loath this library. Excellent wordplay as always.
Omigosh, that is haunting. It reminds me of the first Murakami book I read, “The Strange Library.”
This is haunting. I like the idea of being so lost in a library, in words, and pages, that sky viewing is no longer a possibility.
I especially like the second stanza. It’s plain your librarian is no barbarian.
