Inhale the pliant moments
squeezed between
the brazen blackbird singing
and the silver filigree of bashful stars.
Inhale and listen
to the massive scent of May,
that bird-cherry-blossom-sweet perfume,
dancing milk-gowned through
the nocturne of our garden.
before it softens into midnight blue.
Let evening tease your tongue
with cowslip yellow songs,
with emerald of grass and scents of clouds.
Inhale these moments to fill your dreams
and let them lullaby
you May-sweet-luscious sated.

A wonderful ballad, an embrace of May. I love the way you played with the senses /listen to the massive scent of May/. I liked the line /let evening tease your tongue with cowslip yellow songs/. Such a bright and breezy message.
I could sense the season by sight, taste and feel here. Very well done!
I like the praise to May evenings.
The words rise up off of the page and swirl amongst the images. The cherry blossoms of the photo another reminder of life bursting forth in the season. A very immersive experience you’ve created, Bjorn.
I am literally swooning right now! ❤️ Love; “Inhale and listen to the massive scent of May, that bird-cherry-blossom-sweet perfume,” Woww!! 😀
Beautiful, I especially love the ‘silver filigree of bashful stars’ and to ‘inhale and listen to the massive scent of May’ 🙂
Those first four lines are amazing, and they flow so well with the rest of the lines- beautiful Bjorn!
You should put this to song. Beautiful lyrics.
How sweet and sensually appealing this is Bjorn. Love the blooming and scents of May garden.

You are such a master, Björn! Delicious description.
Luscious is the word. A gorgeous ballad. You are gifted.
I was immersed within the visions you created, seeing May with a renewed sense of awe and joy. Thank you for this.
a poem rich in lush imagery, Bjorn, I particularly like the “bashful stars”…JIM
This is lovely Björn. I was feeling exactly this way the other night, as a brief soft rain sent the scent of petrichor through the open window.
