Dancing late at night

Darling
come and lead me
to your music,
swirl me
upwards, onwards
twist me deeper
into lunacy,
into darkness of de-
    light.

Darling dance me
dizzy-dazed
let’s praise the many ways
to feel and fall
in softer madness
    down.

Let’s dance amazed,
bedazzled
    darkly crazed.

A new quadrille, De is hosting at dVerse again. The word is up.

  1. Oh, how this spill of words charms me!

    This is just fantastic:
    “let’s praise the many ways
    to feel and fall
    in softer madness
    down.”

    Perfection.

  2. ‘Let’s dance’ makes me think of David Bowie, Björn, and I love the verbs you use in your quadrille, enough to make anyone ‘dizzy-dazed’, ‘bedazzled’ and ‘darkly crazed’.
