Picking mushrooms
you can barely sense the might of
mycorrhiza growing down below,
how it tangles with the roots,
embrace the trees
and links with soil to feed the bloom in spring.
It’s hard to comprehend how ants
and fungi interact,
because the wood was never made
for chainsaws or for us
It has a purpose
for the mushrooms and its own.

What a wonderful photo that is! Wow! LOVE this poem, especially that the trees, mushrooms, fungus are made for their own purpose not ours.
Gorgeous.
We humans love to plunder what was never intended to be ours.
There is a lot of the Earth that man has used and misused. But he has a brain over all, it sometimes gets selfish to the harm of Nature.
..
There are great mysteries we may never fathom.
Gorgeous! ❤️ There are so many mysteries on Earth just waiting to be unraveled 😀
Realy interesting post Björn, and I learned a new word… 🙂
