Moonluck

Neither never nor nought
is forever not darkness
when dreaming of you.

It’s cleverly wicked
It’s bright and it’s cold
when caught

in the slivers of silver
the snow moon has
carelessly spilled
in the void of the sea.

After the storm. Moonrise by Ivan Aivazovsky

A short playful poem for dVerse OLN where Lillian hosts tonight. Join us, the pub is soon open

  1. I absolutely love the wordplay in this stunning rendition, Bjorn! ❤️ Especially this; “Neither never nor nought is forever not darkness when dreaming of you,”… is gold! 🙂
