Neither never nor nought
is forever not darkness
when dreaming of you.
It’s cleverly wicked
It’s bright and it’s cold
when caught
in the slivers of silver
the snow moon has
carelessly spilled
in the void of the sea.

Oh, brilliantly penned, Björn!
Slivers of silver from the snow moon….affecting dreams of a desired one. Delicious pen today, Bjorn.
I do like these tumbling rhymes!
Clever and fun and brief. It just made me feel good, like poetry probably should.
I love that word, ‘moonluck’, Björn, and the ‘slivers of silver’ ‘carelessly spilled in the void of the sea’.’.
I absolutely love the wordplay in this stunning rendition, Bjorn! ❤️ Especially this; “Neither never nor nought is forever not darkness when dreaming of you,”… is gold! 🙂
I absolutely love that I don’t know what the hell this means. 🙂
“Neither never nor nought” left me thinking about it! I loved the sliver of silver … clever and fun!
As beautiful an alliterative and imagistic treatment as I’ve seen! Lovely!
So beautiful – Love moon luck!
Lovely and we wrote about the snow moon, smiles. I like to have some of that moonluck!
I love the alliteration, and the thought of moonluck.
Very nice
I think the moon has us all enchanted. All to the good I say. (K)
Wild and whimsical word play, i say!
Light and breezy Bjorn and beautifully written!
This is wonderful Björn, and the picture is delicious! Th last saga is especially tasty… 🙂
*stanza*
Nice sound in the meter.
i like how the snow moon carelessly spilled into the sea, into a void like it had a gravitational pull
This reads to me like a melancholic sailor riddle, loved it.
I love the imagery of the moon being spilled into the sea…
Like how this flows – the first line is fun to speak aloud.
Neither never nor naught is such a perfect, playful line to start a poem. Such a joy to read your work.
