Moonlight spilling silver
on your double poster bed
revealing ivory of your white shoulders
under delicate lace and pale linen.
Your soft hair is parted to reveal a
tantalizing nape, alabaster column
waiting, waiting;
underneath your skin
nests a warm allure of youthful veins.
I go closer, closer
my footsteps dust and velvet; still;
you are sleeping
moving mildly with your dreams.
Untouched, you are not gasping yet;
Unwrinkled, still unspoiled;
your nails have yet to scratch my back.
But I know you know;
you know my sins.
I cradle you so gently,
pretending I am sated
knowing … soon it’s time,
My beautiful,
I will give you insolence for innocence,
I will make you moan.
I am midnight poison, lover, your obsession.
You smile at me
I lick my lips… and move.
Lillian is tempting us with different list of brand-names at dVerse. How many of the perfumes can you find?

Oh I knew you’d choose the perfumes! And you did not disappoint with the sultry words….this is visceral! I loved especially these words:
“I go closer, closer
my footsteps dust and velvet; still;
you are sleeping
moving mildly with your dreams.”
Well done!
Now I dare you to write one with the candy bars too! 🙂
Ha… maybe later.
Beautiful!
I lost count after 6 perfumes. A sensual poem….I can’t decide if you’re simply amorous or dracula? A delight to read.
Dracula is definitely amorous before he makes his move.
Indeed!
Yup, definitely the same set up 🙂
A great job!!! I was reminded of the Horseman on the Rooftops.
Love the sinister turn of this Bjorn.
Perhaps not a fair trade, “insolence for innocence”, but who knows.
Vanilla, Moonlight White Shoulders, WhiteLinen, Alabaster, Waiting, Allure, Velvet
im a fragrance but this is exhausting.
Poison, Obsession, Knowing.
I didnt see Haiku[Avon]; i didn’tsee Opium[Yves st Laurent] – two of my personal favourites.
much love..
Ah, when I saw your note I went back and read it again, looking for the clues. Very clever. I especially like “my footsteps dust and velvet”.
This is fantastic – your use of the prompt words is tantalizing! 🙂
Steamy stuff. Amazing as usual, B.
oh dear perfumes are not my area of expertise… but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this sultry write

I will give you insolence for innocence,
I will make you moan.
I am midnight poison, lover, your obsession.
Raucous times extended with blessings shared with a loved one. How very privileged Bjorn!
Hank
this is clearly some vivid and stunning word play – and yet, you really made it unique and cle(a)verly your own – so taking a brand name wordle” of sorts and duping us into not really knowing what’s up before? makes it all the more impressive …. and yeah, I REALLY like
my footsteps dust and velvet
and great way to play this out – predator/prey or simply a more ardent lover?
super fun writing Bjorn!
Sensuous piece Bjorn… I read it again after seeing the dracula comments and got a different picture altogether!!
I think you could turn this into a 200 page Romance Novel. Good job!
I am midnight poison, lover, your obsession.
A mighty sensual drink of words tonight Bjorn!
Definitely you have a gift of the alluring and sensual tones.
“I go closer, closer
my footsteps dust and velvet; still;”
Goodness there is something so smoothly disquieting, dark in this.
Well done and sinister, Bjorn. I sense a vampire in the house.
Oh my goodness, Bjorn, scented and sensual. I love the title and these lines especially:
‘revealing ivory of your white shoulders
under delicate lace and pale linen’;
‘Untouched, you are not gasping yet;
Unwrinkled, still unspoiled;
your nails have yet to scratch my back’;
and
‘I will give you insolence for innocence’,
I should have written
revealing ivory of your pale shoulders
under delicate lace and white linen’
to get another perfume name
😊
Oh, those a bit of vampire in this. Very naughty..
something of the werewolf in this passionate poem – especially love
“I will give you insolence for innocence,”

Beautifully structured Bjorn!
