Not vanilla foreplay

Moonlight spilling silver
on your double poster bed
revealing ivory of your white shoulders
under delicate lace and pale linen.
Your soft hair is parted to reveal a
tantalizing nape, alabaster column
waiting, waiting;
underneath your skin
nests a warm allure of youthful veins.

I go closer, closer
my footsteps dust and velvet; still;
you are sleeping
moving mildly with your dreams.

Untouched, you are not gasping yet;
Unwrinkled, still unspoiled;
your nails have yet to scratch my back.

But I know you know;
you know my sins.
I cradle you so gently,
pretending I am sated
knowing … soon it’s time,

My beautiful,
I will give you insolence for innocence,
I will make you moan.
I am midnight poison, lover, your obsession.

You smile at me
I lick my lips… and move.

Lillian is tempting us with different list of brand-names at dVerse. How many of the perfumes can you find?

  1. Oh I knew you’d choose the perfumes! And you did not disappoint with the sultry words….this is visceral! I loved especially these words:
    “I go closer, closer
    my footsteps dust and velvet; still;
    you are sleeping
    moving mildly with your dreams.”
    Well done!
    Now I dare you to write one with the candy bars too! 🙂

  2. Vanilla, Moonlight White Shoulders, WhiteLinen, Alabaster, Waiting, Allure, Velvet

    Raucous times extended with blessings shared with a loved one. How very privileged Bjorn!

  4. this is clearly some vivid and stunning word play – and yet, you really made it unique and cle(a)verly your own – so taking a brand name wordle” of sorts and duping us into not really knowing what’s up before? makes it all the more impressive …. and yeah, I REALLY like
    my footsteps dust and velvet

    and great way to play this out – predator/prey or simply a more ardent lover?

    super fun writing Bjorn!

  5. “I go closer, closer
    my footsteps dust and velvet; still;”

    Goodness there is something so smoothly disquieting, dark in this.

  6. Oh my goodness, Bjorn, scented and sensual. I love the title and these lines especially:
    ‘revealing ivory of your white shoulders
    under delicate lace and pale linen’;
    ‘Untouched, you are not gasping yet;
    Unwrinkled, still unspoiled;
    your nails have yet to scratch my back’;
    and
    ‘I will give you insolence for innocence’,

  7. something of the werewolf in this passionate poem – especially love
    “I will give you insolence for innocence,”

  8. Such passion, Björn! Bold and luscious. There are so many perfect moments in this piece but the one that grabbed me first: your nails have yet to scratch my back. Wow!
