First of diluters and tutor in dubious rhymes.
Magician of meters and yards,
Mixer of attar and amber.
Sentinel of tense and keeper of keys.

I am
King of the essence in spades
Prime peppermint peasant, muddler of mint.
Second assistant to the guru of ambiguous facts.

Unless when awake, I just work in
procurement.

  1. roflmao – oh my, I can’t stop laughing for the ending ….. that so *totally* caught me off guard, after reading alone, nodding my head, like ticking off a list of sorts, …. that is so brilliant! a cross section of the sweet mundane with the magical ….

    I particularly loved those lines …. but damn! I still can’t stop laughing … oh my, please, don’t give up your day job, to be sure, but don’t *ever* stop writing the poetry etc. – this totally rocks!

  2. This was so delightful! I adore the fun tone here and the ending was a hoot. Yes, alas I do not get an assortment of bladed weapons as a marketing ninja, but I did get a couple of slices from agressive paperwork. Loved this!
