River loved

Murmur me with rivers,
shiver leaves with breeze,
ease yourself in subtle trance
dance me gently, sway —
play me with your fingertips,
lip me, lick me crazed
daze my senses blue
you and me be moon,
shown the dazzling skies
crying rivers. Loved.

  1. Ooooh, this is so beautiful, Bjorn. I love your verbs, which are perhaps my favorite element of a poem. Now I want to write something with Valentine’s Day–something this romantic.

  2. This is amazing. Especially some of the middle lines. You know, this time around, though, I misread it as saying “Erase yourself,” which makes it all the more interesting to me.

  3. Oh that’s right, duh! I forgot it’s almost Valentine’s Day. Romance, man, I almost totally missed it. Thanks for saving me. Got to get out and find those flowers and candy
