Still, the sky is not completely inked
as chocolate skin on licorice, perfect
is this, the first of many summer nights.
At dawn I’ll wake, and go to sleep again.
the glass of water drunk, and teeth are
brushed. What happened to my week?
Before I go to bed a short poem for Susie’s prompt at toads

I love this!!! “chocolate skin on licorice” … That is a crazy-yum description! And it sounds like a really delicious snack … that I can’t have, grrr. I think you’re being mean on purpose, teasing me like that. 😉
This licorice is out of Iceland – mm
You’re pure evil, Mister. 😉 Show me a picture so I can pretend to lick it with my imagination. (Yes, my brain has its own taste buds.)
Oh good golly, you suck. 🙂 I do not appreciate you sending me off on this way-too-delectable research trip:

Time does pass so fast we wonder where the week did go.
Passing time, my days seem to be stuck on Saturdays, except for Sundays. I’d like to try a mix chocolate with licorice but I won’t as I don’t eat licorice anymore since it has been declared toxic.
..
Chocolate skin on licquorice…there’s a metaphor
Good question..where does the middle of the week go?
Wowieee!❤️ This is such a delicious metaphor; “the sky is not completely inked as chocolate skin on licorice.” Beautifully done! 😀
Why is my brain labeling this sensuous? oh well have a good weekend; enjoyed your poem Bjorn
much love…
Time flies, love your description of the sky. Thanks for writing for the prompt!
