A lifted tail to greet, you friend
and let you sniff snarfdiffanous,
our way for jingle joy to send
us barking on; we’re not bimanous.
We rhambangle in mud and bolt
across the fields, as canines do.
We lack lalamilty of cunning colts,
but outperform the pack of gnus.
Using some nonsense words from Rommy at toads, I got to think about a couple of happy dogs.

some fun words in this! The words may be nonsense, but in the context of the poem, they all take on meaning.
I really love this! It feels true, as someone who has shared a decent chunk of her adult life with dogs. The use of the nonsense words just enhances the mood here.
This is wonderful Björn, ‘sniff snarfdiffanous, our way to for jingle joy’ – Eivor and Pearl understand every word :o)
Looks like I’m going to have to get out my dictionary, you are quite a “smarty pants” aren’t you.
Ha… most words are just invented.

LOL, the pack of gnus….this made me smile. Loved it.
This made me smile, Bjorn!
We should all rhambangle in mud. It would be silly to let canine have all the fun. Hooooowwwwlll!!!
I so love this…It is a break from politics..thank you
Amen, sister.
I like reading this as if it’s about teeth.
Utterly challenging words Bjorn! Canines can be fun!

Fantastic play upon words, Bjorn 😀 love “We rhambangle in mud and bolt across the fields, as canines do” ❤️ Kudos!
Somehow your use of the words sounds avant garde.
Rhambangle in mud and bolt, beautiful expression. Let’s chase some butterfly.
