Canine greetings

A lifted tail to greet, you friend
and let you sniff snarfdiffanous,
our way for jingle joy to send
us barking on; we’re not bimanous.

We rhambangle in mud and bolt
across the fields, as canines do.
We lack lalamilty of cunning colts,
but outperform the pack of gnus.

Using some nonsense words from Rommy at toads, I got to think about a couple of happy dogs.

  1. I really love this! It feels true, as someone who has shared a decent chunk of her adult life with dogs. The use of the nonsense words just enhances the mood here.
