Whispered voices
somniloquy
tethered breath.
Goddess blessed
Godiva-dressed
she’s pillowed
tress-caressed
dreaming
softly screaming.
Darkly passing
clouds across the moon,
as I wait for dawn
and her.

Fantastic sounds here, man.
Um, ex-cu-use me. THIS IS HOT, MAN! 😉
Really gorgeous visual presentation as well.
sum nil: a key
Wow stunning! ❤️
this is stunning poetry…love ‘somniloquy’…
sighing – this is beautiful…
The middle verse sounds like a very catchy and amazing piece of music(besides poetry), an intoxicating, tongue twisting chorus.
Nice. 🙂 Liked this a lot.
love the internal rhymes
Lovely read
Tersely beautiful, Bjorn – you have a knack for it.
Shivers! Wow!
Love all those rhymes, like the cream inside the chocolate.
I always learn new words you have the best vocabulary I’ve ever seen. I love the way you play with your words. Bravo!
What a great compliment… even more since English is my second language.
You are a very interesting figure too if you don’t mind me saying so. You always seem to be where the good poetry is and your comments are so right on. Where do you live, I’d guess Sweden?
Sweden is very much correct 🙂
How could I tell? ~giggle~
You burst out a rap :D. Ohh that part stood out “…she is pillowed tress-caressed…”
Shes safe with you watching over her , mate
Delicious…
Sexy sounds of hot music playing in this one.
Thank you for sharing
Super sensual!
It is such a torture to await the dawn. It is long in coming in such a situation!
Hank
delicious somniloquy
Tress-caressed. Lovely!
Fabulous!
Bjorn you were born to write such under your skin poetry
Such an excellent capture of the mood of the photo. The style makes for a wonderful reading experience.
I’m the one who talks in his sleep. Nice to see it from the other pov.
Oh, wow, I love this as much as Sharkwind. I love “somniloquy”.
and how we wait for them
fits nicely into a Halloween sky
have a good Tuesday
much love…
Yummy hot, a breath of romance at every bite!
Stunning …. the delicacy with which this piece is drawn is beautiful, albeit: mysterious.
I know the feeling when I go to lay in bed awaiting my lover to lay by my side. This poem has a simplicity that tells of great emotion.
Very real today, Bjorn. We have a full moon, very large, harvest like tonight. I can just see here coming in. Horse and all?
..
That middle part is a chant….. so lovely to repeat over and over… wow
Sleep as they say is a powerless swoon–we all go our separate paths, no matter how close we lie together. And there’s no rescuing each other unless we shake the other awake. Nice use of a private dream’s address — somniloquy.
A word that I really like… it speaks to me.
This is beautiful Bjorn ~~~ the art is also lovely, however I saw her in my mind’s eye through your poem.
Creating lasting images of common day occurrences is what poetry can do! Beautiful…
lovely!
Lovely rhythm and description, Bjorn.
