Carpe Diem Haiku – Sogi’s “autumn sky”

ah, for coolness,
it rivals the water’s depth –
this autumn sky

An amazing haiku by Iio Sogi given as inspiration by Kristjaan… what memories it gives.

To me this bring memories of days of autumn, when the sky is clear and sun feels cool yet warm. A day like that we walked together capturing memories, so when I browse through pictures I catch myself smiling feeling the smell of early autumn on my tongue. Together we walked slowly along the channel, admiring the trees just given their first golden kiss.

this refreshment
showered in the autumn sun –
still gives me strength
