Untangle carefully your constellations
and let them sparkle in the warmth of
whispered words that lost its meaning,
but not the listening silence afterwards.
Recall umbrellas, not the rainy days,
as living with an open heart breeds life,
together finding all the baggage — lost
I say “tomorrow will be better than today”.
This is written and linked to Margaret’s prompt at real toads on older prompts. I wrote this in response to Kerrys: A Gift of Wisdom from Maya Angelou.

“Recall umbrellas, not the rainy days.” – That’s a line I really love, because it is so much true …

“Recall umbrellas, not the rainy days”
I like that.
Bjorn, I love the thought of untangling constellations and letting them sparkle. Lovely and well written. 🙂 — Suzanne
I really like where you’re coming from in this poem, Bjorn. It’s a good place.
Well crafted and inspirational. We’ve had so many rainy days here in the northeast which can be be very depressing. I like the idea of “recalling the umbrellas, not the rainy days.” Nice!
To have the umbrella when we need it, and to have it work …That would be just fine enough.
Beautiful, it gives me hope, Björn. Really inspirational. ❤
“Recall umbrellas, not the rainy days,” Oh how I love that line! It sums up Maya’s sentiments quite well.
