shattered dreams to footsteps that lead away – an epic journey perfectly captured in so few words.
I really enjoyed this interpretation, Bjorn — it would have worked well as a haiku, but when you add those two lines to make it a tanka it becomes that much more poignant and even softly sensual — “waves caress your shore” —
