2. I think you found a very good angle there – different than mere description of plant…to ”wax lyrical” about something is to sing praise of it,so there’s some fun wordplay there, especially with tipsy birds!

5. A beautiful tanka Björn so in touch with the Rowan and its magical meaning … would be a strange sight to see the intoxicated birds which have eaten from the fermented berries of the Rowan.

6. What a funny observation. Do those drunk birds fly round in circles?

7. When I was a kid, every once in a great while the deer would get absolutely smashed while eating fermented apples. Watching staggering deer — an odd mixture of humor and pity in the scene. I can only imagine what drunken waxwings would look like! o.O
