2. I can see it from my drifting canoe.

3. Beautiful — I can imagine resting at the sluggish creek, looking for fish and crayfish, water skaters and dragonflies — ahhh!

   PLUS — what a great Van Gogh! Hadn’t seen this one before. 🙂

5. I can’t decide whether this makes me feel as if the creek is stagnant or just moving slowly in the summer heat, but either image works. Well-matched with the painting.

9. Was just thinking that the water in our creeks is sluggish and muddy.
   This for me represented our water shortage.
