silver wisps of mist
gently swirl with dancing cranes –
melt in rising sun

I have been away for a while. But this prompt
In Sweden cranes gather in early spring on their way north. They court and find partners before continuing north.

  3. How beautiful your haiku and to have witnessed such a sight. I’ve only ever seen cranes/egrets solo although possibly three on/around a lake. Cranes are so Zen.
