oh i do hope the frost is not coming back… over here even the magnolias are blooming already… plum blossom feels nice on the tongue when said aloud
Plum blossom is also a kigo for traditional haiku.. We had snow again this morning…
no…dont make it be winter again…i cant take any more…hahaha…i wish for sun kisses….
this is lovely and evokes a picture in my mind.
It would work as “plum blossoms fall” as well, nice.
Sigh…returning winter. We have the same!! ONE day of spring, now returning winter. Your poem speaks volumes.
I hate that returning winter ~ Good one Bjorn ~
Looking forward to our cherry blossoms in bloom…always a true sign spring has arrived. Beautiful haiku.
Hopefully when I return home – spring will have edged out winter.
For the moment – ‘we’ are enjoying the sun 🙂
Return visits might have to wait until … well, just a tad later for catching up. Thanks for your visit today. Another Elfje trio for tomorrow. Still the 15th for me. About 9:30pm. Cheers. Jules
Lovely. It sounds like you like the winter as much as the summer, Bjorn. Of course, they both have their good qualities.
A wonderful haiku Bjorn … could have been written by one of the classics.
Ah.. thank you so much… unfortunatelly we have some winter coming back
That’s a sad idea, here the trees are blossoming in a fast way, because of the temperature which is to high for the time of year.
I love this! I feel like I am one of the few that hasn’t had more snow.
