Crossing a big river on our long trip, breaks not only the monotony of the taiga forests but it interrupts our conversations as well. Somehow the train has been transformed, to a spaceship. We cross the dark river where stars are reflected, and we seem to be floating through space. We take a glass of wine and I see the stars reflected also deep within your eyes. At that moment we are for a brief moment connected stronger than ever before.
your eyes shine
more clearly than ever –

Love your Imagination 😉
I enjoy being taken on this beautiful journey of words and imagination 🙂
Love the description of the train transforming into a spaceship and the subsequent haiku.
Ah Bjorn, this is getting more beautiful every day. This haibun was superb at every twist and turn, like the narrow side lanes of the painting -typo spotted, shine, line1. All the best.
Thank you – spelling error corrected
Really very nice haiku, forgot to say, and the symbiosis created between prose and haiku is clear. You wrote so well as you stayed away from any touch of ‘hollywood sentimentality’, this is high art.
Beautiful.
You turn this journey iñto a romantic trip … so in touch with ‘Aleph’ awesome … looking forward to your next posts.
“torching me” is such a great line!
