The rustling bamboo leaves
sing symphonic serenade –
how can my painful loss
mark my path like this?
A gentle autumn wind
kiss my morning bristle
like you used to do
To my surprise I see
that my heavy soles
leave no remaining mark
I inhale the healing air
and like the path I walk
and I find that my heart
has healed without a scar

I like the idea of heavy soles leaving no mark, Bjorn. It is sometimes good to be able to tread lightly through life! Nice to see you back writing again!
The sound of the bamboo groves really impacted on me too.. such a natural noise must surely calm the most wounded heart.
That second stanza really got to me. Really tender.
Pain may leave scars but also spurs new growth… i like the delicate brushstrokes of bamboo!
nice…a walk in the woods is often healing for me…the scent plays a part as well..to walk with no footprint…that would be a wonderful thing….
a nice healing poem… loved the heavy soles leave no mark…
No scar is very bamboo-like! They renew so quickly so the metaphor works very well. Thanks, Bjorn–Hope you had a nice break! Sounds sunny! k.
I like that healing in the end ~ Such peace to find amongst the bamboo leaves ~ Hope you are enjoying the holiday Bjorn ~
A beautiful write. It is good to find that no scar was left behind. Great imagery.
How cool…I love your painting!
Your poem is tender and full of growth…much like a new bamboo shoot.
Thank you for writing!
I like teh hopeful air in this work – healed and moving on.
ah! the healing touch of nature
love the images and nature as the healer….
the weightlessness and the healing without scares jump out at me here… also well done on the drawing…i like…
A great fun app to play around with.. almost like real, but you can erase and start over.
I love the way the heart fades into its landscape, leaving no trace but the flutter of bamboo leaves.
Love the zen feel of your poetry today ……
yes to that second stanza. not only because i like to kiss morning bristle. or maybe… okay, that’s why. 😉
Wow really cool connection between the ground and our hearts Bjorn this is raw and authentic.
