A walk in the bamboo groove

The rustling bamboo leaves
sing symphonic serenade –
how can my painful loss
mark my path like this?

A gentle autumn wind
kiss my morning bristle
like you used to do

To my surprise I see
that my heavy soles
leave no remaining mark

I inhale the healing air
and like the path I walk
and I find that my heart
has healed without a scar

  1. I like the idea of heavy soles leaving no mark, Bjorn. It is sometimes good to be able to tread lightly through life! Nice to see you back writing again!

  2. The sound of the bamboo groves really impacted on me too.. such a natural noise must surely calm the most wounded heart.
