chronicling my quarter life crisis
some people wait a long time for that tide to come in. Waiting for forgiveness or even giving it.
I loved the thoughts that this conjured.
or the waves can come in and just withdraw … never really having any effect..
oh, that made me sad. I don’t like when your stuff makes me frown.
But you’re right of course.
or they can crash in / imposing
all the shades of forgiveness in your haiku

Love this! It washes you clean.
Can garner many meanings here…agreed. I know people who have felt huge release after forgiveness. I can never forgive what was done to me. Difficult prompt for me emotionally.
I found this hopeful… I like the idea of the ocean waves having a cleansing effect an effect of healing! Thoughtful poem!
