Carpe Diem haiku today is to write a haiku inspired by Kikusha-Ni:
my body all alone
in this autumn I feel –
the dusk in rain
I offer you two flavours, on the two values of the words loneliness and solitude. To me two different interpretations of the inspiration haiku

Night Rain on Karasaki by Hiroshige
loneliness
sun obscured by clouds
fall depression
solitude
sun obscured by clouds
fall enlightenment

yes, i like that… both sides portrayed in a seamless sight..
Both perfectly expressed.
That’s great
Loved them both.
Great set 🙂
Indeed there is a difference between loneliness and solitude, and you’ve captured it well!
Kikusha-Ni’s Dusk
I agree…loneliness has a negative connotation whilst solitude is a chosen condition….
Of course, I would pick the first.
Picturesque. Yes, the difference between loneliness and solitude…
So fittingly beautiful. A rare twist from the normal ones that we have, Bjorn!
