Carpe Diem tarot deck deals us the star

The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh
stars reflected
deep inside your eyes
a night together
among the stars
the mightiest of men
– insignificant
falling stars
you can wish for anything
but to put them back

but to put them back… really like that one!
🙂
Lovely thoughts and last one is superb.
Thank you ;.)
Magnificent … The 3rd one blew my mind. Out of curiosity, what format are you following? I like these better than 5-7-5.
I’m not really following a format any longer… I rarely go over 5-7-5 sometimes 3-5-3 and sometimes 4-6-4 or something in-between. I just listen to how it sounds.
🙂
So romantic ! And lovely!
Thank you 🙂
i love the romance too in the first one but that last haiku really shines
Thank you. 🙂
The first one is so wonderfully romantic and sexy!
Thank you 🙂
Wonderful set. The last one is a profound truth
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful series Bjorn, by the way, it doesn’t matter which format you use for your haiku, because a haiku just must feel good.
I agree.. when I started writing Carpe Diem I was strictly 575, but since then I’ve changed.
The last one tells the story with brutal honesty!
Haiku My Star
What a gorgeous piece. Thank you for stepping outside the typical Haiku convention- it’ll inspire me to break Haiku barriers. And it’s obvious you listen to how it sounds as this is the poetic equivalent of the musical earworm. -Mike
Very nice haiku.
A fine post. I just love Vincent’s starry night 🙂 and your haiku trilogy.
I LOVE that last one!
