In parts of the world it’s mother’s day today. and therefore the prompt in Carpe Diem is Mother’s day. In Sweden it’s a little bit later, but I choose to be a little bit ironic on this one.

The dishes
Thank goodness for dishwashers but we didn’t have one until I was in high school. One of the stereotypical views of wife/mother. So true.

Awesome, and yes, so true. The work of mothers can be postponed but not abandoned.
Pity nobody offered to wash the dishes so she wouldn’t have had to postpone the grinding chore.
