Carpe Diem Haiku – Mother’s day

In parts of the world it’s mother’s day today. and therefore the prompt in Carpe Diem is Mother’s day. In Sweden it’s a little bit later, but I choose to be a little bit ironic on this one.

  1. Thank goodness for dishwashers but we didn’t have one until I was in high school. One of the stereotypical views of wife/mother. So true.

  2. Pity nobody offered to wash the dishes so she wouldn’t have had to postpone the grinding chore.
