The pale complexion was her best asset in negotiating the deal, she could sit still and silent for hours and looking just like she had been cut from a slab of marble, no humiliating color even touched the base of her neck, no matter how much they screamed or threatened.
She was dressed in a red dress, and wore her black hair tied back in a no-nonsense ponytail. Knowing she was extremely attractive, she could always get whatever she wanted, a single smile sufficient. She had decided to deny them this for the moment though, knowing that anticipation was a much stronger lure than to flaunt herself.
She just sat and took notes and looked at them with just her small eye movements acknowledging that she was actually listening.
After the lawyers had failed to raise more than an eyebrow as answer from her, the CEO came and pleaded, using all the skills that had convinced so many failing investors before. She smiled her Mona Lisa smile and chuckled. As she touched his hand she saw him flinch from her icy touch.
It was getting close to 2 AM when she finally opened her briefcase and took out 2 folio sheets.
“We accept, these conditions” she said “I just need your signatures”
She produced a gold fountain pen and left them to do the paperwork. When she closed the door she knew that they had won.
As the CEO finally signed the papers for their take-over he was surprised to see that she used red ink in the pen. He also noticed a sharp smell of sulphur and a slight sting of pain as he felt himself drained of blood.
