Today’s Carpe Diem kigo is Tanpopo (Dandelion). And once more I turn to Claude Monet for an illustration

you cannot stop a child
blowing dandelion seed
spreading of the weeds

  1. Right! We let them be! (You should have seen my little garden …) They are beautiful. And annoying, to say the least. So they are to identify with. Lovely dandelion! The child has got it.

  2. Love that you let them be. When dandelion season is almost over, nothing is more loving to me than watching my husband walk thru the neighborhood seeking a dandelion for Lucy our tortoise. Yellow suns 🙂

  3. Lovely. They really are little suns in the lawn. Must stop thinking about them as weeds.
