Trifextra challenge is to use the words rebellion rain and remember. So here is my 36 word effort.

Melancholy by Constance Marie Charpentier
To remember his deceits is like an eternal rain.
But as sun returns the daylight drives her rues away.
In rebellion she burns his letters of deceitful words
I watch her spreading ashes to the wind.

BB this is stunning, I cannot pick a favourite line as it flowed so beautifully and each one perfection.
Thank you 🙂
This is beautifully written! I love the last line in particular.
Thank you 🙂
This is wonderful!! Your word choice is most excellent my friend!! XO ~ Jen
Thank you 😉
ahhh, Bjorn! Power to the abused! (there is great power is shredding the words so hurtful) Well done.
Indeed, Thank you
Excellent. Am finding so many inspired forms of expression. This one so riveting.
Thank you 🙂
Very nice! I really like that last line. It’s a great image, and I like how it puts you (the speaker) in the story – it makes it more personal.
Thank you… yes the last line felt like I came close to the poor girl
This is really very good!
Thank you 🙂
Where do you come up with this stuff? I think the best use of these 3 words yet… and the photo is perfect (as always).
Thank you Ted… I find twitter to be the best school ever for instant feedback…
A poignant goodbye. Well done.
Thank you 🙂
Great poem! Thanks too for the photo of a painting by this woman artist. A group of us are compiling a list of historical female artists that has been sidelined or left out of art history books. New one, never heard of this artist. So Thanks Twice.
I had never heard of her either… for me it was just a picture that fitted the prompt well.
Lovely! Is the speaker perhaps a new love interest? (:
Oh that would be great 🙂
The picture is perfect for your words. It is romantically sad and dramatic. Love both those things.
Thank you.. It is one of the challenges I give myself to try to find a good picture.
The image of the last line is haunting.
Thank you 🙂 but hopefully a start of something new.
So many kinds of ashes can be spread to the wind. Good one!
Thank you 🙂
Great capture. All the words of the challenge blend in seamlessly.
Love to blend words. This one gave me melancholy immedetiately.
Perfection.. so beautiful. Wonderful image and I really envy the look of this blog…xx
You are a poet through and through man! Even when writing prose.
Wow!Loved this piece!Deceit & betrayal does depress us & feels like eternal rain but thankfully if we can rebel & burn those deceitful words from our memory,we can bask in the Sun(hope) again, beautifully expressed & I love that art:-)
that first line is a hard hitter – it hints of smashing a home run
Nice imagery and feeling on this Dude.
The picture helps to tell the story so beautifully. It reminds me of the renaissance.
I love this!
