Carpe Diem prompt is zansetsu (remaining snow). For this prompt I share a summer picture from Swedish mountains, where patches of snow remains all through summer. A summer that never get past spring in reality.

Extremely beautiful. Both the picture and the words.
Thank you 😉
My eyes are entranced by the zebra-backed mountain. Then the poems begin to speak. Nicely paired.
Thank you 😉
Thank you, it was a lot of snow last summer 🙂
Especially like the spilled milk simile, Bjorn!
Thank you Victoria 😉
Nice. I like your vision of the mountain. It gives life in all the poems I have seen.
I am a man that find solace in the mountains.

Wow! Love that picture. Poem is perfect for it.
We have nippy summers.
The mountain’s crying over spilt milk. Surely it’s a bit big for that?
Cry me a river 🙂
Wonderful imagery !!! spilled milk – amazing !!!
Thank you 🙂
You’ve made the cold beautiful.
It is beautiful 🙂
I think spilled milk evoked a beautiful image, wouldn’t it be nice if up on that mountain is was warm with a little added chocolate — lovely words BB.
In winter it all look like big fluffy heaps of ice-cream. I’ll post a picture later.
I’m sure you’ll be glad when all the spilt milk is finally sopped up!
Remaining Snow
🙂 very good.
loved the last one! 3 seasons, a great expression of that feeling of the mountains still covered by snow when others “enjoy” extreme heat.
Thank you 🙂
Your words give depth to what it means to live so far north! I loved the snow bunting calling. I have never seen one of those!
The snow bunting is a wonderful little white bird that comes before any other migratory birds. It looks like a little snowball 🙂
I love the line snow buntings call
The piece and image are reflective beauty
Thank you 🙂
