Carpe Diem Haiku – Mariachi

Carpe Diem prompt today is Mariachi. I’ve chosen to illustrate with a self portrait of Frida Kahlo. Who spent her life as painter in severe inability to move after a traffic accident. Also shared on dverse open link

  1. Wow! I never thought about that before. She painted with so much passion, perhaps it WAS her immobility that drew out her art! Great poem.. I found you on dVerse where I posted a ‘non-haiku’ poem.
