Carpe Diem Haiku – bamboo

Today the word in Carpe Diem Haiku is bamboo. Carpe Diem is an amazing group of people dedicated to write a haiku blog every day and then read each other’s entry. A picture is important to me, an today I choose a woodblock of two lovers under a bamboo umbrella. The print is made by Suzuki Harunobu.

memories from bamboo touch

  1. What a tender tale you have spun with your words. I love alabaster skin….bamboo umbrella hides the kiss…..bamboo touch…. Well done Bjorn!

  2. a set of beautifully romantic haiku, and the last, sad and gorgeous visual…I always appreciate your ‘illustration’ choices….
